Fossil Whale Tail Pendant
Imagine living aboard a clipper ship in the early 1800’s, transforming a sperm whale tooth into a little figure with your knife. We salute those bored whalers and their talent with this hand carved whale tail pendant. Two hundred years later, we use – ironically – much older material: fossilized mammoth bone to mimic the whale teeth. We also love the sleek ebony look.
Available in both hand carved fossil or ebony walrus bone, in three sizes: small (approximately 1/2″ wide), medium (approximately 1″ wide), and large (approximately 2″ wide). Sold with adjustable sterling silver chain.
